The Brighter Events team had a great time at the OT Weekender in Manchester where nearly 50 people from the travel industry were in attendance.

The event was held at Hotel Football and at the home of Manchester United, Old Trafford.

Friday evening saw the team enjoy drinks while painting their own picture of Hotel Football and Old Trafford. Safe to say we are better at planning events than we are at painting!

Saturday morning and the team were up and about early as they headed to Food Sorcery where they took part in a cocktail making competition – and we’re pleased to report the Brighter Events team were victorious.

Cooking followed where the team had to rustle up street food, making a variety of dishes with the Brighter Events team tackling tacos.

Once done, it was back to Hotel Football to get ready for the evening where the team enjoyed a tour of Old Trafford and hospitality in the 1878 suite, a great space for events, before finishing the night at The Lawn Club which also hires out spaces for private events.

These familiarity trips provide the team with amazing insight into what certain event spaces can bring to the table when planning for our clients.
